In this role, he is responsible for global purchasing, manufacturing planning, logistics and warehousing, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) for a business unit of Cummins that makes aftertreatment products for Cummins engines and other Original Engine Manufacturers (OEMs) around the world.

He has more than 25 years of experience managing plants (engines, machining and fabrication) for Cummins. He left Cummins for a few years in 2000, and managed an automotive stamping and welding operation in Bardstown, Kentucky, while pursuing a graduate degree and post-graduate study in Louisville, Kentucky. Before returning to Cummins in 2007, he worked as a consultant for NASA improving ground operations for the space shuttle program at the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida.

Prior to his current role, he was the General Manager of the Rocky Mount Engine Plant, one of the most complex engine plants for Cummins, employing more than 2,000 people in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
