Speaker: Sharon Rice
Too often we work to improve ourselves in areas we deem as "weak." However, we are most effective when using our strengths to maximum effect. In building a team, whether at work - in a volunteer organization - or somewhere else, focusing on the natural strengths of your teammates can help you build a highly effective team. According to Tom Rath, author of StrengthsFinder 2.0, we can't be who we aren't, but we CAN be more of who we ARE.
Please join Sharon Rice, Vice President of Strategy at APICS, as she illuminates the building and function of effective teams based on the insights from StrengthsFinder 2.0.
For almost nine years Sharon Rice has been leading APICS by working closely with staff and volunteer leadership teams supporting membership, career services, courseware and instructor development, certification, research, publications, customer service and marketing and brand management of APICS.
Also, please note our location for this meeting: We will meet at Tucanos Brazilian Grill in Hamilton Town Center, Noblesville, IN.
